Day 57 - another day of hope and sand

We awoke to a bright sunny day with strong winds. We waited anxiously for the new clutch to arrive. It finally came in late in the afternoon after Robert the mechanic had left for the day. During the day we walked the beach at Mexico Beach, 10 miles west of Port St. Joe. Here again we walked on squeaky sand. At both Cape San Blas and Mexico Beach there are hundreds of beach homes. In both areas there were a large number of beach homes for sale. The hidden message is if you want to spend time at the beach rent, don’t buy.
