Miles cruised 0, fuel purchased $0, slip fee $133, daily high temperature 80*f feels like 85*fThe happy day has arrived and so has our grandson Jackson O. Augusto. He is 8 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long.  We are very proud grandparents.imageThe day stated with breakfast at Blue Heaven. My Pearson 39-2 sailboat is named after the Blue Heaven restaurant in Key West. Great way to get crew gear such as caps and T-shirts with the boat name on them. The only downside is their logo is a rooster riding a bicycle. Sometimes it took a little explaining. Jimmy Buffett sings a ballad called Blue Heaven Rendezvous.imageKirstyn ordered this amazing key lime pie.imageOne of the highlights was riding in Chris and Kirstyn's private Cirrus plane. They flew it from Fort Meyers to Key West. Amazing views of Cayo Hueso. Their plane has a parachute for the entire plane.imageA view of of Key West from Chris and Kirstyn's plane.imageMy son JP arrived from Detroit at 2:00 pm. He dropped his wife and new baby Eleanor at Rachel's families house in Dearborn, Michigan. If the wind and sthe seas die down we will do some fishing.Bonus photoimage.Carl ( Chef ) Wooden - quote of the day.It is not the ship so much as the skillful sailing that assures the prosperous voyage.  -  George William Curtisy
